I can't believe it's Thursday already! I've been in a bit of a blogging slump but here I am! I'm sure every blogger knows how that is. Either I can't think of anything to say or I would rather have some "me" time rather then write and edit a post. But I also have been cookin up some other projects which I will post on once I get them all churned out. And I'm super stoked on'em! =)
Anyway......I took the plunge! In the hopes of growing in my photography I signed up for an online photography class though Shoot By Design with Amanda Gilligan. We are still in the first week of class but I thought I would share my pictures of the week. You might be seein a lot of her because she is part of one of my photography projects for the course.
I chose my grandma's Nesting doll to shoot (or Matryoshka doll as my mom told me). It means a lot to me since it was my grandma's, and I remember looking at it while I was at her house when I was young and throughout the years as I grew. Besides the sentiment of the piece, I just love the vintagey and aged look she has gained over the years, but she still retained the bright reds and details. I'm just in love with her all around.
If y'all want to look at all the pictures from my lil shoot here just check out my flicker on the right hand side here. I included the originals and the edits I did so you could see before and afters. I always enjoy that so I thought some of you might too. =)
Well, that's it for now. Talk to you guys sooooon! =D
