A little Dining Room Inspiration!

This week has flown by! It's been a while since I've been this busy. But I am happy to be home this weekend finishing up some stuff that needs finishing!

I thought I would post real fast about my dining room. Slowly but surely I keep thinking of elements that I want to add to the room to create a feel that I'm happy with. That's somewhere between, beachy, light, airy, Anthropology-y, fun, clean, slightly delicate, warming, relaxing...I think. =) Anyway I put together a little bit of a mood board to hopefully help me start seeing what I'm thinking a little more clearly - if that makes sense.

Hopeful Reupholster Fabric: I already have everything except the striped reupholstered chairs. So the hunt is on for an affordable yellow and white striped fabric. This might take a while.

Room Paint Color: I LOVE Benjamin Moore's Wythe Blue!! The same color also flows into the kitchen (I just have to finish painting it). Here's a better look at what the color actually looks like in the room.

Chandelier: The Chandelier looks similar to mine except my is boxy rather then clear balls everywhere and it only has 3 lights.
Dining Room Set: My dining set is very similar to the one from Pottery Barn. The color is right on but the chairs on mine have upholstered cushions attached to the chairs though. Also mine seats 8 without the leaves and 12 with. Perfect for our big, growing family's get togethers. And get this, I scored it for $125 on Craigs List! With everything! 8 chairs, table, and 2 huge leaves! It was easily worth $2000+! It was basically the Craigs List score of my life.

Dresser: Right now on the dresser I have my collection of blue glass with some peacock feathers, a picture my uncle drew, and a bright silver tray. I eventually want to do a bunch of framed pictures on that wall done in a callage style (like this but not all the way down to the floor).

Anyway, that's my idea so far. But the monster is still growing! =)

Night, night!
